Where every figure comes from
A rate table is only worth what its provenance is worth. This page states the source, the basis, the as-at date, and the two things the board deliberately leaves out.

What "advertised" means here
Every rate on the board is an advertised rate: the lowest a lender publicly promotes for that term, on an owner-occupier principal-and-interest loan. It is not a quote, it is not what you would necessarily be offered, and it frequently carries conditions — a maximum loan-to-value ratio, a minimum loan size, a package with an annual fee attached.
That makes the board useful for one thing specifically: seeing the spread, and where a given lender sits within it. It is not a substitute for the lender's own terms page, and the comparison rate — which folds fees into a standard example — is the field that actually lets two products be compared.
Two things this site does not publish
- A "best loan" ranking. Ranking requires assuming a borrower. The right product for a 40% deposit refinance and for an 88% first purchase are different products, and a single ordered list has to pretend otherwise.
- Government fee amounts. Registration and discharge fees come from eight different registries on their own revision cycles. The links go to the pages that publish them.
